It comprises of 2 bedrooms. Lounge/diner, galley kitchen, and bathroom with a shower. A gas safety check was carried out last October (2014). The water is heated by Calor gas, as is the fire in the living room. It is sited on a small privately owned park, with no restrictions on the age of the caravan, so you will not be made to renew your caravan once it reaches a specific age as some sites do. There are approximately 10 caravans on site which are all privately owned. This is why the mature people with no children or dogs are specified. The site itself is situated between 2 larger holiday sites for which you are able to enjoy the facilities they offer, eg Clubhouse, shop, Launderette etc. But with the benefit of retreating to a more sedate site to relax and enjoy. The site operates just a 6 week shut down between the end of January and mid March, not October to March as a lot of other sites do. So you benefit from a longer season in which to enjoy it. Sites fees are payable twice a year in October and March. The payment in March is approximately £150 higher than the October installment as this includes the council tax element for the entire year. The site fees for the 6 month period are approximately £600-700 excluding the afore mentioned council tax element and electricity. Additional expenses are Gas, for which you purchase your own calor gas bottles, and electricity which is billed twice a year at the same time as site fees.
