A set of super condition all brass vintage bank scales from the 1930s in Norwich, Norfolk for sale
These top quality scales are British made from about the 1930s period. They would have been used by Banks to weigh bags of coins in the days before digital scales. Actually these are classified as balances as opposed to scales as neither pan is removable. These are most certainly not the modern imports from India but a genuine British made item in top quality brass. Again I have not cleaned these for years so could do with a good polish. A lovely piece of 80 year old nostalgia.
